    Smile Update Some New Pics

    Minor update.

*The Bonnet grill is back in, and sprayed black to match.
    * Corner lights are done in nightshades.
    * Clear Headlights, much better than the blurred factory ones. Now I don't like driving with the headlights down

    * Still to be done, door mouldings. Don't know whether to do them black or red. Sprayed 'em red already, but screwed 'em up, by not been patient.

    * Headlight plastic surrounds, ran out of paint thinner so will have to leave it for another week.
    * Front panel re-alignment, next monday its going to get done, along with Key lock hood pins. Which i'll have to spray black before they go in.
    * The other plastic bit that attaches to the eyelids, I painted 'em with nightshades a couple of years ago, today went to clean it off using paint stripper. Big mistake which I'll never do again. So I may be after a replacement set. Anyone help?
    * I hate the ordinary incandescent bulbs for the corner lights. Definately will upgrade to either a bright 10mm led or a cluster of 3 even brighter 3mm ones.

    * Found a bodykit, seems like the ONLY one in the country for $500AUD, ($385US)

    * photo's aren't the best.

    Well, as I said

Its going into the body shop to have the bonnet and panels aligned and bumper fitted properly. I'm just waaaay too busy to finish it.

Mouldings will get done soon I hope. Along with the plastics bits for the headlights.

Interior is the next big thing, i've got it in pieces, most of it sitting in my room. Going to re-do all the dash and other shit, in black using vinyl paint. Door trim will be done in vinyl. Seats will get done last, I'm possibly scoring a set of MR2 leather seats off my cousin for free, so I'll see how I go with those. Interior will be black theme. Might also purchase a set of White Indiglo gauges from procarparts.

I've got a set of US taillights which i'm mentally planning a clear light conversion for. Got something in mind, just need to sit down and think about how to do it.

Looks pretty good from what I see. How you mess up the moldings?

painted them, done it all properly. Plastic prep, etc. Then after an hour I accidentaly nicked one, and found the paint just peeled off like adhesive. Then found all the others did the same.

    Thought the plastic primer failed.

A couple of days later, found that I could barely nick the paint off the mouldings. Impatience, killed it.

One of the few 3g's in red. Looks good so far. But what about that big dent in the front right door panel?
What bodykit do you have your eyes set on?

there's not big dents in the front door. That's just the lighting.

There's only a nasty scratch in the upper area caused by a stray wiper blade. Which i'll respray next week.

I have that too from a previous owner jacking up the car in the wrong place.

Mines on the rear passenger side door though.

Ahh that, basically caused by jacking the car up in the wrong spot when I was running late for work one night.

Hopefully some side skirts will cure that.
