here's a simple idea for cleaning up the area where the floor levers are, I made a fiberglass cover,covered it, and put velcro on the back for easy access to the levers. i already made the hatch power release,am going to do the same for the gas door. you'll have to pardon the carpet,i haven't replaced it yet.
i took an old lever cover and filled in the indented areas then covered it with duct tape(fiberglass doesn't stick to duct tape) i used this as a mold and covered it with fiberglass mat. then covered it with material. it hides the levers on the floor really well. here is the hatch release
