    Tape on back window

Since I bought the car there has been scotch tape on the back window and I havent been able to get it off, its like it got cooked in the sun and its really stuck.

Is there a chemical or something to make this easier? Scraping with a knife isnt working to well, and I need to repair my rear defroster before I tint. I tinted everywhere else back that back window and it looks kinda stupid, I thought it would be easier to take the tape off than this

If the tape is on the inside, be careful. You don't want to cut the metalized strips used by the defroster.

If you have a portable steamer (you can get one at Sharper Image) , you might try it.

    Peace.
