I think I've seen pics of rims the other way around, with the main surface silver and all other parts painted black.

i had seen some accords with the panda look with black rims and it seems to look good,i have to repair some damage to the paint on these wheels. i need to find a right side replacement for curb damage, there a company out of flordia that is supposed to be able to fix them it might be hard to find a wheel that old again. i like them because they are factory and they are 14's. you don't see too many of these wheels around anymore.

Mount the tires on in reverse. I did and they look alot better IMO. I also used epoxy on the center caps to shave the ACURA emblems then painted them silver to match the rims. They look pretty good for OEM teg rims. I've seen them blackened and they look okay too.

someone gave me the honda centercaps they fit but were loose, so i ghetto fixed it, i wrapped electrical tape around the springs on the cap, that was five years ago, they fit tight and don't rattle. i'm debating on the paint i like the silver too because the 89 teg looks just like my hatch and they look good on it from the factory,. i went all the way from georgia to tenessee to get those rims, they are a bitch to find. i might just paint them silver again. got a few scratches i can always sand them down and fill the scratches like any other body damage. repain them silver, those black inserts might look good though.

They aren't that hard to find in FL. I found my matching set in the junkyard by a teg. I got the whole set w/ bad rubber for $80. I drove them for a bit then took the tires back and got like $20 back for cores. So I got a whole set that were repainted siver and had minor curb rash for about $60. Then I threw on a set of Falkens. I had them mounted reverse sides so the "saw" pattern spins the other way. They look pretty cool on the 2G hatchbacks...look at Phydeaux sig to see them mounted. I might be willing to sell mine as a set if I go with bigger rims when I get the car back. The rims are in good shape and the tires have 0 miles on them.

if he sells me those wheels i will, i have one that is curb damaged. that would also give me some extras for the future. i was thinking about paining the slots black, they always have brake dust on them anyway, or maby white to match the car. leave the rest of the wheel silver.
