Question What ever happened to all those electronic super/turbochargers?

Yeah, so a friend of mine was asking about one of those leaf blowers you used to find all over eBay and everywhere else. I told him not to bother, it's a waste of money, not even enough CFMs to bother, etc...
but when i went to look it up and show him, i could't find a thing! it's like they all disappeared or something... turbonator is just a fixed metal peice; same with the other company... and they're making fixed peices for the exhaust now too......

anyway, yeah, i was curious to find out what happened. is it illegal to sell now or something? or did too many people detonate their engines?

i was thinking he should go with a bilge blower if he really wanted one....
