    Read the posts above you, he said it was;
"$399 AUD which is about $290-$300 US, but i'd personally negotiate on the price. "

Guys you spoke to are in Bankstown which is the Lebanese hotspot of sydney. Lots of ethnics, lots of gangs, etc. Lots of WRX's, hotted up cars, etc. That's why they talk a bit different.

Good to see your getting a motor though.

nope sounds like itas 500 aud for shiping alone and the 399 aud for the engine plus another 150 aud fopr the tranny so thats 1049 aud which is about 800 usd or so id guess

300 (US) for the engine, 150 (US) auto tranny, 400 (US) shipping....the guy said that adding the tranny to the mix shouldnt change shipping... so 850 total-ish?

as for an update the guy said it could take 4-8 weeks for it to get here lame! but its worth it i guess it will give me time to get extra money to work on it! well ya thats it

good to see i've done some good.

Shipping time sucks, but that's the catch unless you want to pay higher costs to have it flown.

    Oil's expensive.....

Are these auto tranys???or 5 spd?? or can yah get both?
    Do they come with:?????
    - ECU
    - Wiring harness
    - Starter
    - altenator
    - exhaust manifold
    - engine mounts

From my understanding a wiring harness from a FI A20 will work with this engine, but you need to replace the ECU, read about it on hondaprelude.com......if my statement is incorrect please correct me...

Auto's only available from this mob, however Manuals can be more easily sourced in the US.

For details contact Jap Performance directly.

Yes you can use the A20A ECU, performance is slightly compromised, but if your bothering to go all out and do an engine swap, you'd be wise to buzz off the factory ECU and just for an aftermarket system. With fuel & ignition control - gives you more tuning options and control, and down the track lets the addition of a turbo setup become a lot easier.

    Question Ecu

OK....Aftermarket ECU....definetly not my area....Anyone know what type of aftermarket ECU is compatible with our 3G's???And if so, where to get'em? Thanks, any reply would be appreciated...Definetly going to go to the next level if I can get a JDM B20A this winter when I store it away...

Done some research on the B20a, and a small few of Honda hardcores with Civics and Preludes have dialed in these blocks and pulling B18c Type R's that are also set-up..lots of potential...Any feed back would be great.

ANY aftermarket ECU should be compatible.

Basically fuck off all the stock accord ECU. Depending the ECU you go with some use factory sensors others replace them.

I personally wouldn't bother with the factory ECU unless you can have them easily modded, tuned, etc. In the case of ours well nothing can be done.

With finding out, most performance shops, places that do dyno supply them. I know here it's pretty easy to get.

We've got excellent well priced choices such as Microtech, Wolf3D, Haltech & MOTEC (probably regarded as one of the best around) Australian built and very highly regarded locally and internationally.

Kalmaker is another it uses GM Delco ECU's that have been adapted to connect to a laptop and software written, very popular choices as the GM DELCO ecu's are used in many Holdens (GM) here.
