My DC header finally installed (56K can milk a cow)

Here's my DC header finally in the enginebay. It definetly helped low end power. The power loss I experienced with the JG intake is finally back. The good thing is that I still got this awesome top end.

The enginebay is REALLLLY dirty now. Oh well, I'll take more pictures in the future with a decent bay.

    Enjoy!

Looks almost showroom to me... hope I can get it that shiny.... Looks real good... Could that header fit on mine or does DC make a header for mine?

sandblast and paint it when it gets rusty like mine.

    http://users.adelphia.net/~versanick/enginebay1.jpg

This happens almost inevitably with the 4-2-1 series header like I have. Is that ceramic coating, or painted, or what? I don't ever remember seeing mine look like that. I don't care enough about how shiny mine is anymore... I just want to go faster haha

sweet header though. and I want your intake. give!

I sold a header a while ago but it was for the A20A. This header is for a 3G lude B20A5. The downpipe had to be modified to fit the Accord chassis. I didn't do it but it seems it was made longer and the bend in the downpipe was changed to accomodate the B20A engine tilt. The O2 sensors had to be relocated because they would hit the lower X-Member.

The header was painted with VHT high temp paint (1500 F).

So far it seems to hold up fine.

Nope, no problem at all. All the bolts lined up fine and it was easy to install.

I bolted the downpipe before bolting the manifold completely to the head. This gave me more room to put all the downpipe bolts from the bottom. I really like your old header.

88LXi68, we definetly got to meet one day. I'm sure your LS/Vtec kicks ass.

I just left it there lol. I had to cut my tube on the stock manufold too since it was basicaly stuck and didn't have enough space to remove it... The EGR is disabled anyway since I'm using a B16A Edelbrock intake manifold
