    LED conversions

    Who here has done LED conversions? i'd like to see pics of it.

    That's conversions for exterior lighting.

    (actually ipk923) led conversions is really easy, use a computer or apaer to get an idea of what you want, then go on ebay and buy a bunch of LED (preferrably from mckenken) then lay them out, you'll need the proper resistors, also check ebay after using a LED calcualtor, found online. they work like normabl lights and look etra pretty.

    There's 6 in each bumper light, 2 in each sidemarker, a regular low watt red bulb in the side blinkers

    That is nice! I just have LED's in my corner lights. Standard 194 conversion in the side markers and inverted cones in the corners. They are awesome at night, but a little harder to see in daylight.

    cant u just buy led bulbs? like ones that have the same adapter as ur stock light, but its filled with leds? I'll try n find a link.

    lol umm, i have a third brake light (in a spoiler off a prelude) that has leds

    so since these have a different overall resistance over the stock bulbs dont your guage sensor go off saying theres a problem witht he headlights or the tailights. I stopped when they starting doing that. Best i could find was a different resistance was in the circiut sending a check sensor. I figured anyway

    are LEDS brighter than bulbs? My rear lamps are getting dim

    im pretty sure thaey are better than originals w/ double the life at half the energy required
