Dude, in PA, you can get classic plates when the car is 15 years old. I would get them but I don't really feel like changing my plate and shit at this point.Originally Posted by spanky

Here in Quebec, it'S 25 years old to be considered antique. Those plates cost close to nothing but the dowpoint is that you can't drive on the highway.

It's 20 years here in MN. Then you never have to buy tabs again for the car. But there's a mileage limit that you can drive the car per year. And they don't like it if you drive the car to work.
But the plates I think are about $75-$100 but never have to buy $40 tabs again.
i thought it was 20. well, i might check it out.if i do get it it'll prob be the only one around w/ antique plates.Originally Posted by SteveDX89

I hve an original cobb county plate on the front of my car,it says 1983 but it has the decals for 85-86 just like a new car. same county it was originally sold in too. in georgia they made all the tags from 83-89 say 83. then it changed to the peach in 84.it's as close to the first tag on the car as i can get.
I think 20 is antique and 15 is classic. You're technically only supposed to drive the car one day a week with those plates but I don't think they have any way of knowing.Originally Posted by spanky
