does an 86-87 3geez grille fit an 88-89 hood?

there is a nice crome 86-87 accord grille on ebay but i have an 89 accord, i was wondering if it was the same grille? i think it is but im not for sure.

they fit in the same space but they are slightly different. 88/89 got the plastic to match the light covers. I like the look of the 86/87 chrome ones better

Yeah most trim peices are swappable... though some things like trunk taillights need the entire trunk lid to swap over from one year to the other.
I like the 88-89 grille, side markers, and eye lids... but I like the 86-87 side door trim better cause it's flatter.

I noticed the metal on the 86-87 fenders were thicker and 3 times heavier then my 88-89.
