    well here u go smart a$$ (shepherd79)and 2 all u other good 3geezers
for the guy to wrap the stock one with real carbonfiber it is $650 a new stock hood is $120 plus shipping. and he also can take any fiberglass hood meant for the 4th gen and fit it to our 3rd gen so the price of a fiber glass hood (varies) is about $400+labor=$600 a rough estimate beacuse he can also wrap the fiberglass one with carbon fiber for $600 or so extra. these prices are just for me to purchase but i bet he will be willing to drop the price a bill or so if more would like one too. i know this sounds steep but what other option is there other than stock. any questions post. i will be getting this done within a couple weeks so i can save enough for this

I agree with mixmatch you kind of miss the point behind carbonfiber to be lighter not heavier.

Damn thats ricey, of all the things I've ever heard for our cars that definately the cheapest. Why on earth would you want to show off a FAKE carbon fiber hood, thats getting REALLY desperate to look like normal racers. It's things like that that get people to laugh at our cars for being pieces of shit. Don't mean to be harsh but c'mon, "wrap" our hoods in carbon fiber??!

By the way, if you want to do that yourself just look in any SCC or SuperStreet and some of the adds in there advertise that carbon fiber crap on mass rolls for like $30 or something like that. So you could wrap your whole dash if you want to go pro-rice....

Just to add, if you could possibly get a predator style hood made for our cars I might consider buying one if the price isn't too unreasonable ( www.aerogear.net carries them). Hit me back on my email w/ a price quote if you can.

The 4th gen hood will never fit on the car either. The share is reversed compared to the 3rdgen hood. The middle part sinks in the enginebay while our middle part rises.

And I agree with the others about the part

Getting something wrapped in carbon fiber only to make you "look" faster is the pure definition of the long grain cereal.
