    b20a performance.

The b20a is obiously the most common swap for our 3g accords and its quiet tempting to the swap since its pretty cheap. However i have one question that i cant seem to find the answer for. For those of you that have done the b20a swap, what kind of 1/4 times do you run? Im looking for stock numbers prefebably but a few mods wont make much of difference. So what does your 3g with a b20a run in the 1/4? And is the car a hatchback, coupe or sedan? any responses will be very usefull thanks:argue:

I ran a 16.3 without the B20a, keep up to me you will try. Lol, just kidding the b20a is over rated my friend. I have 291,000 miles and I run a 16.3 with an A20A3. I drove a hatch (my friends) with a b20a and i wasn't impressed. Unless you go with the b20a with the b20a ecu, keep the stock A engine and turbo that shit I say. Cast iron is the way to go.

I ran a flat 15 3 times in march this year and a flat 14.8 twice 2 month ago.
Only mods are a cold air feed from an open headlamp aperture and a stripped out prelude which maybe lighter.

2 years ago I did 15.6 with insane traction problems. The car is really good for high 14.

Is the B20A an interference engine?

Yes, very much so. The Prelude version will bend AT LEAST half of the valves if the belt breaks.

Why. The A20A is the last fo the non-interference Honda engines. Even then, some people bend valves when the belt beaks and some don't. Interference engines isn't a problem when properly maintained.
