    stupid haynes manual... what are the real bolt sizes?

    the haynes manual that i downloaded seems to have misles me into buying the wrong sized socket for removing the flywheel, does anyone know what the size the flywheel bolts are? the manual seems to be telling me its 12mm which it isnt

    they are 17mm (12 point socket)

    The bolts ARE 12 mm. The head for the 12 mm flywheel bolts is 17 mm 12 pt, as listed by carothead. Fastener measurements are given for the threads (diameter and pitch), not for the tool you'll need.
