What is this piece, i need a new piece, the crappy white metal broke, so need to replace it, it connects to the very bottom of the car, then mounts on the bottom of the intake, then goes to a the main coolant line.

have no idea what is it, and cant seem to find it in the manual.

That is for coolant, It is either a thermo type valve or a one-way valve I have no idea what the exat name of it is. I'll have to look on Majestic Honda's site.

In either case it supplies the coolant to heat the carburetor.

It's not absolutely critical if you live in warm climates... you can plug the coolant port on the back of the carb and plug the coolant port on the water pipe that comes off the water pump and runs under the intake manifold.

That piece got broken on my car and almost kill my engine by overheating it, you can buy a new one from dealer or get one at a yunk yard (thats where I got it from) and after 6 years haven't failed again. If you can't find it send me a pm I have a used one in very good condition in case you need it.

It may be in pauls shop manual... in any case, if you just tell the dealer you want a thermovalve they might give you the wrong one... besides the termovalve in the pics above... carbs have two thermovalves at the rear of the intake manifold, and another one on the thermostat housing. EFI also has their own set of thermovalve.

Yeah, I wasn't sure if this was EFI or what. I can't upload Pauls manual for some reason, I have both manuals anyhow. Just was curious if this was for the carb. Accord. I'm worried that my thermovalve isn't working right.

Edit- I'm glad you pointed out all the thermovalves on the carb. Accord...
