For anyone who is looking for a front lip spoiler for the 3rd gen. accord, the front valence from a 94-96 accord looks like it belongs on my 89 lxi. I'm very pleased with how easily it installed and how clean it looks. First, trim about 1" off the center mounting tab (which runs about 32" along the top mounting surface), then trim off about 1" from the rest of the mounting tabs and about 1/2" from the tabs on either side, as all this extra plastic hinders proper fitment. All fitting was done with the front bumper removed (alot easier this way). At first you may notice that this lip doesn't follow the contour of the 89 bumper, but have faith. After that center tab has been trimmed, the center portion of the lip just kind of sits flush with the bottom of the bumper. Drill a few holes through whats left of the tab, into the bumper and use pop rivets or small bolts with washers to hold it in place. continue fastening almost all the way to the corners leave about 1" to work with. This is when you pull out the heat gun and simply bend the lip's corners to match the bumper's corners, and finish fastening the sides. On my 89 the ends fit absolutely perfect with the edges of the bumper, no cutting needed here. If you have an 86-87 then you may have to cut out some length from the center, but I would suggest mounting it as I've descibed above and then simply trimming the desired amount off of the ends once they're mounted and lined up. Anyway, this peice was like $40 at my local honda dealer and really updates the look of the car. Pictures coming soon! Good luck!
