anybody know if an 86-87 prelude with FI will have an ECU that will work with the accord? just curious, i heard they can rev a bit higher, thats why id want it for my car
Mine is! Though thats the same one derick is refering to. I thought in Canada it was the EXi anyway, maybe not 86, I dunno. But my 86 LXi is definetly 5 speed manual.

i have 87 honda Accord lxi (hatch back). i found a temperature sending unit (plug) next to the oil filer (behind the intake manifold) with nothing attached to that plug. i can not find any loose wire that should go to this plug. Can any body help me with the picuture of the same unit.
Thx
you should get a shifter from an 86 manny, go back there and hit himn in the face with it.

86-87 prelude ecu will work just fine. the only diff between accord ecu and prelude one was that prelude ecu pulled more vacuum on distributor.
