    does 1986 prelude radiator work in a 1986 accord

    Does a 1986 prelude radiator work on a 1986 ACCORD?They are both carbed .

    Carbed yes... but that doesn't matter... what matters are two things.


    1) Are you automatic transmission or manual (5-speed)?

    2) The body of the prelude and the accord are different.

    the preludes a 5spd the accord is an auto.

    You need an Auto Radiator in the Auto car. If not your Auto Transmission will die.

    The auto Radator has an ATF (Auto Transmission Fluid) Cooling line that runs inside the bottom of the radiator to cool the ATF. If you get a 5-Speed Radiator there is no cooling line... your trans will die.
