Stupid car!

Well, the stupid car broke down on me again, this time the radiator cracked...
Right as i got home:


the steam cleared and i was able to get a pic of the crack:

I patched it up with jb wekd and used some of that stop leak radiator stuff, hopefully itll hold long enough to take me to the vw dealer today to get this:

i traded it in for a jetta, yes a girl car. Its the gli(turbo, ricaro seats, bbs rims, 6spd manual). I dont know if im going to stay on here longer simply because i dont think i could contribute to anything.
I do plan on getting another 3rd gen when im out of college, so i guess ill be around more in about 4 years.

yeah, i feel like that with my 3gee sorta. but its all little crap thats easy to fix. but it does become a bitch to fix it more often than my new car!

here's my friends jetta GLi. its a sweet car. i'd reccomend one. drives like a dream. he had a golf GTi before this car.

1.8 turbo, 6spd manual. I would say it does go "hard out" for a stock car. Ill get some pics of the interior later.

that's is a nice car, i must say. my friend got eye brows painted to match the car. he had the performance dual outlet muffler put on. has his diverter valve reversed. that's a free mod, not more than taking a couple of hoses off and switching them around. in the first few months of having his GLi, he broke a tranny mount's bolt clean off. that was wierd. only thing i hate about his car is that you really have to avoid dips, bumps and inclines due to that damn front lip. everyone i know with a GLi 1.8 has scraped up their lip. not that noticeable though. anyway, yeah, stay with 3geez!
