    P155/80r13

I want a set of winter tires, and the 155 seems pretty small, but its good for the bite through the snow. These are blizzaks

Will these ones work? I can get a good deal on them through tiretrends, I need 2, just for the front. Just so I can get through some snow. And the 80 aspect should mean its a decently "large" tire for the 13" wheel.

But is 155 too small? It needs to put around the city in some pretty bad past winters, so I wanna be prepared.
EDIT: Or the next least expensive blizzak is in size 175/70R13

Which do you figure would be better? I will be running 175/70/13 in the rear all seasons

Whats the overall dia. of the tire> I would go a little taller to keep you up over the snow some. You dont wanna belly out on 2 inches I hear there really good tires btw. Can you stud them where you are that be ausome.

I probably could, but the roads arent that bad if it doesnt snow for a while.

I dont know what the overall idameter of the tire is, but 155x80% aspect gives 124 mm tire. So 13" plus 248mm would be the total size.

This tire is taller than the 175/70 by 1.5mm (3mm overall) And these 2 are really my only options. I got a good price on either one

    its a wash

155/80/13 is listed 23 inches overall

    170/70/13 listed as a 22.9 inches overall

I think the 155 is cheaper on www.tirerack.com click the "specs"
    for the scoop.

Yeah it is cheaper, and for winter you dont want a wide tire, it wont bite as much. More weight on less surface = more traction for snow.

It is cheaper, and its slightly taller too. So 155/80/13 is all good?
