Few questions... Whats an h22 cost with everything? And how hard is it to put into a 3g? Also, what would it put out?

not only use the search but you can type jdm h22 into google and find out a cost of the motor and do some figures yourself... but since it's not even a serious question i think we should just ignore him.

Are you dumb? Perhaps you are. I wasnt planning to put an h22 in my car, I just wanted prices and to know why its so hard. I think, maybe, you should read my last post, and then I'll let you PM me with a written appology, or you can hand write it and send it to me, I'll give you my address. Thanks.

engine size primarily. with the transmission and placement of mounts ect ect ect and cost and difficulty of the mounts and fabrication of EVERYTHING that needs to be made to put the engine in there. the cost of the engine isnt the primary problem. its everything else that goes with it.

a written apology!!, are you kidding me, i havent said much in this thread just cause i cant stop laughing long enough to type anything, but your last post AccordDX86 is just down right rediculous, if you have read even just one page of this thread you would know why everybody told you to search, this website is full of new guys coming on and asking questions that have been asked before a million times, now i know when you first join this site theres alot of info on here and it takes awhile to go through even half of it but honestly the search button will save you alot of flaming and ppl getting mad at you, plus i dont think you deserve a written apology at all! thats just dumb and rude

I was using sarcasm, I didnt mean for it to be taken literally. And, I was searching, wasnt I? Asking questions on a website built on questions and answers is searching.

    i feel REAAALY nice today.

    http://osakajdmmotors.com/introhonda.htm

2000-4000 just for the motorset stuff. you will need wiring harness changed, and custom mounts and axles, price on that depends how crafty you are. could coast $100, could cost $2000 depends on who u know. EDIT, you probably also need custom shift linkage... and a few other tidbits which i am not aware of

Nice prices they got there...I can't tell is the F20B from the type R Accord DOHC VTEC or SOHC VTEC? I've never seen one up close only the F20 in the S2K. Is a ZC really worth anything? its a 1.6 DOHC, no?
If I were rich and insane (I'm on my way to becoming one of the two) then I would say F-that H22 and go with the H23... LOL...show me a 3G with one of those under the hood and I'll show you some shit in my pants...

Yes...but I don't own one of "these" cars...mine is a G2...much lighter and shorter wheel base...I'm just toying with the idea. Eventually I'd like to invest in building up a Honda DOHC for rallye w/ boost...but that's way down the road.

I just wanted to know if the ZC was worth building...I'm leaning towards LS/Vtec cause I hear nothing but good things about that. Yeah I'll do my homework before I jump on that. I want something light too because I need a nimble car for rallye no fabled H22 for me I wanna stick to 2.0L or 1.8L...right now its got a good old A20A3 NA.

well my brother has the DOHC ZC in his civic. its not a bad motor but i dont think you can get it in the 3gee and i also dont think itll be worth it. but hey its your car. im about to do the ZC swap im my civic in around another week maybe. im gonna buy a full motor and then drop it in. then ill buy a long block and build it up to run around 17-20 psi o boost. and do the ZC/Si hybrid trans build and put it in. ill have four really short gears and one reall long gear. ill let everyone know how it goes. its gonna be a nice sleeper once its finished. completely stock body and all sorts of 300 WHP under the hood!

Wait just a second. Aren't they the same question? Hmmm... wouldn't I come out with the same understanding? And please, lets not critique each others grammar. Way to argue like a nine year old.
