Katrina survivor from New Orleans (56K BIG maybe)

Well, I'm finally back home with the 3G. Recent changes include the installation of OEM window shades, repainting the trim around the rear window, repainting the antenna base, changing the fog lights to the blue (used to be yellow), rear speaker pods from an SEi, Pioneer 3-way speakers all around, and about two bottles of simple green under the hood. Enjoy the stock goodness.

That would be because both me and the car went through the storm together and I'd consider her a survivor (as well as myself) considering that my garage was a hair away from flooding...and afterwards we got trapped by the water for some time. Perhaps my way of thought doesn't necessarily match yours when it comes to thread titles...

    3g Jester,
I appreciate the effort, but I've seen the aftermath already when I drove through Mississippi...I can imagine what Biloxi looks like now. Did you stay through the storm too?

P.S.: I did not expect my fellow members to become so inflamed about the thread title...I in no way intended to offend or confuse anyone.

Is it spray-on, wipe off? Or do you have to rinse it off, or does it just evaporate? lol.

It comes in a spray bottle, its made to use for kitchen degreasing and tile grout etc.

Actually, that's how they were mounted in the junker too. Maybe they look strange because I didn't bother repainting them to match the brown interior.

Thanks...it runs almost as good as new too. Next in line is the clutch, SEi rear disk brake swap, and suspension bushings. Then it'll really be new.

Simple green is amazing. Make sure that you don't leave it on painted surfaces for too long since it is pretty strong stuff and can damage paint. I found that following up with clean water works quiet well to rinse off any remaining degreaser. A small brush and sponge are also great for cleaning.
