You can guess what this means

    Leia's keeping the 3g
That is complete exhaust by Walker (cat is in the box, little boxes have mounting and gaskets).
Zak (Accord89(rus) or something) gets full credit both for me keeping the car, and for finding me the exhaust....he's got the same setup for his (minus the muffler).

Soon it'll be on the car, as well as new tires and brakes. I'll be such a happy girl to drive the Accord everyday again and not sound like a ricer anymore.
My 3g had a leak in the flex pipe AND a broken pipe right in front of the muffler, you can imagine how bad that sounds.

Way to go! If I am extremely fortunate, this is the last (gasoline burning) car I will ever own. Around here all an expensive car does for you is make you look better while sitting in traffic. Someday I want to own a car that does not run on gasoline. If not, a chauffeur driven limo with a bar and satellite TV in the back will do just peachy.

Hahaha, VW is tricky, I do but I don't. Premium fuel, no way. Eventually I'll have my Scirocco.

It was $330 shipped, which is the best price I've seen of anything. Exhaust shops I've looked into were way more.

these things are like a damn virus...cant get rid of it...i already wanna buy another one..a rabbit would be my first choice...then rocco...then jetta...since i already have the gti..but mk1's and mk2's are the way to go..

anyway..enough with the hijacking...330 isnt bad at all...if i remember right mine cost right around that..maybe a hair more..but then again i have the memory span of a fish

It was online yes, and it is basically a stock replacement. Its not performance, but stock is just fine with me.

Re: You can guess what this means

It wasn't that I didn't want a slight performance upgrade, I was dissatisfied with all the shops I spoke to. And I'm not gonna throw away my money on Pacesetter. I spoke to a few mechanics I trust, mine who I thrurough (spelling) and cuts no corners but costs more, and the ex's bro who goes for cheap and quick (obviously not my mechanic) and they both recommended the same shop. The crappy place at school told me $650 and reuse my cat, and flat out refused to use larger pipe. The place both those mechanics recomended by me was talking $450 and I didn't even get into larger pipe or anything.

So yeah, I'm not giving someone I am not happy with any of my money. And I'm just trying to make her my daily driver again, I'm not gonna pretend like she's a racecar or anything. Quiet is good.
So :P an upgrade was my 1st choice, but this will work just fine for me.
