    can i recalibrate my fule level guage for fuel cell?

    i plan on getting a racing fuel cell form summit. i am not sure yet what i pan on using for a pump or sending unit but i was wondering what can i do to use my factory fuel guage

    I'd think you'd need a new gauge and sending unit that are made for eachother.

    i hate to have dead guages in my cluster
    so pretty much my fuel and temp guages will be dead. and infor on hooking up the factory tach wires to my msd

    is the fuel cell that much different than your current tank?
    use the same sending unit or one from a boat with an inboard tank, try the older ones that are similiar to cars ,correct craft used for their 1989-1997 boats . all you have to do is shorten the arm or bend it so that when your empty it reads empty same with 1/2 1/4 or 3/4 full tweak it till it is close enough.

    p.s. most fuel gauge systems are very low tech
    and are not too sensitive to changes.
