alright guys i'm a real tight azz i have the LXi and i want cai. i have the filter and i have an empty wallet but i have a 5ft long aluminum pipe that i got a year ago when i bought the filter. i just need a way to make the pipe run where i want it to i don't have a pipe bender r a welder "aluminum". so i'm really at a lost as to how i'm going to do this but i have had this filter and pipe longer than i have had the car, and it's driving me crazy.

You can also cut the pipe in to sectrions and use rubber pipe bends of the appropriate size to direct it where you want.

yeah i love it when people say stuff like that. to answer your question the rubber pipe bends would work but would more than likely restrict some airflow, if you could try and find someone like a metal shop or a school that has a pipe bender and see if they'd do it but more than likely they are gonna want money, so a job might be helpful in your immediate future.
