    new armrest

so my armrest from 3gjester finally came last week. so here go a couple pix of that. and a random one of my busted hose which caused me much grief to change. turns out i either changed the wrong one (the one on top) or they're both busted. they look factory, though, which could explain why since it's an 18 y/o car.
    the armrest and cassette holder

    again

    installed

    closer

a bit blurry, but that's the hose

nice, my car came with an armrest already in there, and you should just replace both of the hoses...

yeah, i bought enough hose to do that. but the clamp that connects it to the tb on the bottom hose is turned to the bottom of the hose. and i'm sure you know how agreeable the oem hose clamps can be.

is that picture of rusty water comming from a hose? if so its the inside of your engine and or radiator thats rusting. usually comes from not changing the coolant. most cars have it happen. mine's pretty good now that i've changed it a few times and flushed it out each time. also, i use distilled water to refill the radiator, not water from my house. i've noticed that keeps it from rusting up so bad.

    Re: new armrest

yeah, the rusty water was coming from the hoses. the whole system is rusted. i flushed it out twice already, but it keeps being rusted. although i haven't tried the distilled water. probably try that and see how it goes, then. anyway, more pix of my new eq and the install.

Course, it could be that fancy orange coolant in there instead of good ole green. Nice calendar!
