Well... Yay and nuts. At least you can still use the stock F22/H23 rods as a direct replacement for boosting...

    Re: b16a pistons in b20a

here i am bringing back an old thread, but i need to know something, i have the pins bored out on my b16 pistons just now, guy at the machining shop just rang and told me that the rod was too fat or something to go in the piston and will have to either take some off the piston or the rod he said.

calling all those who have done this mod i need to know what you guys had done as it should be no different

Im using standard p30 b16a2 pistons and standard blacktop b20a rods that say pk2 on them

    fast answer would be nice

I don't know if my rods were modified of if the piston was... I'll try to search through the pictures I have at home.

    if it's from a CRV it's a B20B or B20Z, not B20A.

    Re: b16a pistons in b20a

I was thinking that cable looked like the clutch cable sitting in its bracket but I might be wrong. the picture is too dark to see if there is any clutch release arm.

ok I just turned up the brightness on the picture and it does indeed look like there is no clutch arm.
I retract my previous statement lol

Wink Re: b16a pistons in b20a

Since we are on the subject of transmissions, can we get a sticky of what clutch kit and flywheel you need to use when you use a “B18A” bell housing to “A20A3” gearbox conversion on a B20A? I can’t seem to find where it was discussed.
