Ports shmorts, fuel is still going to stick like a booger!
Doesn't really matter THAT much though. I'm guessing after all of this and a good tune (Please tell me you're not sticking with the 3g PGMFI) you'll be putting down great numbers. =)

Well.. I'm gettin somewhere... Slowly but surely... I have to meet a June 24 deadline.... Which means body has to be primed n pretty, and she's gotta be rollin...minus the interior and paint... So well see.. lol
whats in june? looks hot. cant wait to see it.

Steph n I are having another wedding in PA.. I wanna have the car done so that my pops can see it when they come out this way..
so youre done with the engine?? keep us updated. oh and congrats on getting married![]()
What kind of rad is that, Koyo?
and what's up with the coolant lines? Do I see copper?
dude that motor build looks killer. I can't wait to see the HP numbers from this.
Yes the engine is done... I gotta finish the manifolds before I fire it up though... The Rad. is stock not sure what brand.. The coolant lines are heavy duty marine hoses, I should never have to replace them... The don't bend so I used copper elbows to gettem where they needed to go...
N thanks for the congrats.. We're actually already married.. But most of her family don't know yet so we're havin a big wedding this summer... Our 1 yr annv. is on the 8th of this month...
that looks sweet. so did you cut all the coolant lines since they don't bend?
wow it's been six months since I posted on this thread... To all of you who are keepin tabs... I'm still workin on my baby... I started it last weekend... I'm doin the interior now n I'll finish the body after that...
With all the head work I did.. n that triflow cam the intake sounds beast I can't wait to put the itb's on... anywayz... I'll post vid of it running a little later...
Glade to see it's stillin the works....I never saw the custom bumper until now...I have to say i had to look atit twice before i could tell how you did it.....that's original right there. The bumpers gonna be nice when it's finished , i can already tell![]()

Hell ya!! Kind of makes you wonder if it will start at first, but none the less nice vid. Sounds sweet. I wouldn't drive it too far with it having the body parts missing. Anyhow, sweet!!! Sounds good. Good work Jigabu.![]()
Lookin Good Man, Cant wait to see how it looks when your done![]()

Good deal man, mad props on all the work. That sweet a20 sound makes me miss my old 3g...
Niiiccce.....I like th sound of it. Looks like it has some getup too.I got to come up and check it out in person when i get back. Think about takin a little road trip anyway.
Yea I got 3 free pulls at the mustang shop across the street from my house... So as soon as the breakins over and I readjust the valves and retorq the head bolts it's straight over there...
So heres a qucik update on my progress... I've still failed to touch the body... But the interior is comin along nicely... I was tryin to do some things Ive never seen before and so far it's successful... Now I did say I've never seen some of these ideas before, not that no one else has done them... I am however hoping Im pioneering these ideas... So enough with the chit-chat here's some eye candy
That is a real wood floor... I'm trimmin out the rest today... The carpet is not preformed the only way I'm making it work with minimal wrinkles is because I'm cutting so much out of it... The seat is my old driverseat (which is a crx si seat) recovered in black and blue specked tweed by yours truley... The subbox will be mirrored on the other side and both covered in black tweed and padding...
I didn't want to get rid of the back seat totally so that I have somewhere for my dog to ride with the wife and I, and for a babyseat one day... I have already made a slogan for the seat..."if you can fit you can sit".. It would not comfortably accomedate someone my size for a ride across town...
K thats it for now... Alot more to go... But I'll GIT R DUN
that's freakin' killer bro.
=)
So slowly it's all falling together... Unfortunately it's been to cold to do any glass work so I've been pushing on with the interior... The trunk is done, aside from the nitrous bottle, hose and wire installation... I just gotta finish trimming out the driverside floor board and recover the driver seat and the bottome part of the passenger seat and install them... And make the custom door panels, cover and install... So heres some eyecandy...

Looks sharp
I especially like the way the trunk came out can't wait to see the car finished up .
A little bit to many switches for my taste, but I like how you moved the window controls to the center console.Originally Posted by jigga89SEi
