but it's a performance engine that would be a feasible swap, probably the only feasible swap available right now

MUGEN = LOTS OF MONEY! Something 99% of you 3geezer including me that no one has. This thread is useless.![]()
sorry guys, i should have researched first, ha
I dont know, we could still have the bumper (thats all i wanted in the first place!) copied (From a member named sataniC) for a reasonable amount, i'm sure. If he was willing to get it copied, i'd buy one.
just sign it anyways, who knows, yea we all realize is a super long shot but hell its not gonna hurt anything if you sign it, it takes 2 minutes and has th posibilty of helping the 3g comunity

ok so if you all didn't know (i assumed you did) mugen is now called m-tech. has been for a little while now, i just figured i wasn't the only one here who read honda tuning.
fact of the matter is, whether it's mugen, spoon, or showa. that bumper is nice as hell and i want one. fact #2 is if there's a cheaper place to buy the same parts of course i will go there, but whether or not they are from honda or from my ass those are some good quality parts.
as i've stated previously, once we have a full list of members interested in afterarket performance, we can send that list to just about anyone. it doesn't have to be m-tech.
Play lottery!!
Yea I was just about to say that. You might all want Mugen to make stuff for our cars (which is unlikely), but at the end of the day only a very few people will be able and willing to pay the big bucks that Mugen stuff costs.Originally Posted by BITESIZE
by the way, it's M-TEC. No "H"
oh...
i thought it was spelled like V-TECH
i mean having all mugen parts on your car might run you up quick, but i'd be willing to part with a few hundred for that bumper...
you just hit the nail on the head. Plus to re-release and re-issue some of this stuff it's going to be even more expencive. Best bet is to try and find some of this stuff used in japan and import itOriginally Posted by BITESIZE
i just did it. only 41!? you people need to realize that this is how it starts. we need more sigs.

the main reason for the list anymore is so we can use it later on to petition other companies (smaller companies, more easily influenced by smaller numbers) to make aftermarket parts. Think of what we could accomplish with a couple hundred names, which is easily attainable seeing as how many users log on this board every day.
guys, you should ask friends, even if they dont have 3rdgens. They should sign it if they think that bumper would look wicked on your car, or if they're mugen fanboys and think its a great idea. Look, i got my girlfriend and another of my friends to sign it, because i'm always bitching about how theres nothing for our cars. Keep going!
id be great to have stuff liek that made , but its a big long shot , its possable that liek someone else said that smaller companies will make the stuff.

it's possible that smaller companies will make anything. i was on this board before diamond was making forged pistons for us.
by the way, anyone specifically interested in that bumper can go here https://www.3geez.com/showthread.php?t=48427 and buy in on a fiberglass copy. they are being made for about $106 plus shipping.

diamond makes custom pistons... just give them the measurements and specs, and they can make a piston for anything. its not like they have a part number for a20 pistons (trust me i have spent an hour on the phone with ron and eric at diamond)
but ur right, the small companies are more likely to be flexible with oddball requests... its not like mugen is going to give a shit (i thought mugen got shut down anyway), but the smaller, knock off companies might care.![]()
I thought it was V-TEC not V-TECH/ stands for variable valve timing and elctronic lift control(not that you didn't know) but i don't know where the H would come from, but maybe i'm just denseOriginally Posted by speedpenguin

Ok, seriously....... there should be WAAAAAAY more people that signed.
maybe we should change the title to "aftermarket support petition"
and since apparently anyone who wants to can get this bumper now, we're set for bumpers anyway
