You must love having more aftermarket support.

Everything looks really good. Milano Red is bold & delicious.

    Peace.

Even with the aftermarket support, I'm not really getting much aftermarket..

In terms of looks, my car has JDM Corners and JDM Sidemarkers. Interior I have the optional audio console and the armrest too. To be honest, this car is very similarly modified like how my old accord was : OEM taste with a hint of aftermarket.

The amount of aftermarket still boggles me but the thing is, alot of it is junk. All these made in taiwan cheap imitations are all over the place. The biggest thing I love about this car is that it is fairly interchangable with the 3rd generation Integra which brings me to a few mods: Motor and Brakes.

Expect to see some more interesting additions as the semester ends and I go on break. You know what that means.. photoshooting

Well at least if you WANT to get aftermarket, you have choices. For example, if you want a cf hood, you can get a VIS or Seibon (instead of the crappy carbon fiber laid over fiberglass no name crap that's available for the 3g). Or you can get Teins, etc. You get the drift.

Even w/o the visible mods, it's sexy.

    Peace.

The other rims have bridgestone Potenza 205/50/15 on it. They cost me $130 mounted and balance each. i don't think I'll want to waste those tires on daily driving in the "winter" (california one haha).

The tires on it now are yokohama es100 which are aboud $70 each tire which isnt cheap but cheaper than my nice bridgestones.

I'm waiting for camber kits so i can even out the camber before I ride on the bridgestones.

-2.5 camber in front and -2 camber in the rear is Mad Tit3 y01!!1!!

I guess you are right. There is a great amount of good aftermarket support for my car. But alot of it is for hatches not the coupes. The main reason there is alot of aftermarket support i think is because of interchangability. I'm using alot of integra type r parts. I have so far Type R sway bar, Type R lower control arms, Type R N1 99spec coilovers. Alot of the parts that are made for integras or other civics can work with my car which is great and somewhat overwhelming too.

In the 3geez world, I was Busted_Blue, a legend as some call me. In the Civic world, I am just an ordinary civic. I am nobody.

stock d16z6 for the time being.

I'm debating over B16A or B18C1 at the moment. Once I figure it out and find a decently priced one with low mileage and find an LSD Tranny, I'll slapp it in. Until then I'm just going to leave it with basic bolt ons on the D16. Intake and exhaust.

Simply for the fact that I do not have smog hook up. I do not want to risk tickets from cops who are dicks. My buddy has a Turbo GSR and he only had it for about 3 months and he has been pulled over and fined over $500 because of his turbo kit.

If i lived in another state without smog, things would be a lot different, but since I live in SMOG NAZI central, no.

GSR B18c VS B16A is a tough debate.

Yes i want torque (but what honda has torque?) No difference in which motor for this reason.

Displacement? well....what does the displacement do? give torque right? also wastes more gas.

Power : both are equally potential in power. 170hp or 160hp is not big enough of a difference to just go with the GSR 170hp.

Intake manifolds: B16A intake manifold is much better than the Dual stage of the GSR. But there are aftermarket copies of the b16a IM for the GSR again, reason is nulled.

Ease of making smog legal: here is the big one. It is alot easier to bar the GSR if i buy a USDM OBD1 one. The B16A will be harder to make legal as the B16A p30 ECU is rare.

Price: B16A is cheaper hands down. GSR is more expensive by about $1000+

The two reasons that matter the most pick both engines. GSR for ease of making smog legal, and the B16A for being cheaper.

    I'm stumped =\

I assume B16B and Type R B18C5 are out of the question. . .too bad. Although my favorite of the two is the B18, i would go B16 in this case. I believe they are more suited to daily drver purposes, but the smog thing plays huge in CA, so it might not be worth the money you save if you have to pay lots of smog related tickets, but i would try for th B16 in this case. that's my personal opinion. good luck deciding, and please keep us updated, because that car + swapped engine=too cool to not share
