its on the back of the block, under the intake mani.
Its easiest to get to from underneath the car. You gotta wedge your hand up around your axle on my car. I'm sure it's not much different for yours.
behind the block, dead center.
I like to drain my oil first, then take the filter off that way i don't burn myself on the exhaust.... your carbed, so you can't grab it from the top of the motor....

W wish it were EFI! I haven't looked under the car yet but I will once this damn meds were off. I was told to take this med for my ADD and well I feel like I am really drunk. But thanks guys for all the info!

if you lay under the car, and look between the engine and teh firewall, you will see it, like halxi said, right under the intake manifold

Ya if ur carbed, easy dont need a jack or stands. Just unsrew the plug grab filter from the top. No jack and no time.
