    Carb is smoking?

    just did a head gasket job unpluged everything , i know my temp sending unit is bad , but my air box was full of condensation and i think its my carb because water is coming out of the two holes on the left hand side(driver side usa) does carb requrie some type of coolant? any help is appreichated

    temp never goes up past that ,





    Notice the "control box" black box of death is gone =) and it runs great!

    what do you mean the carb is smoking? did you pull the carb off the manifold? if you did did you use a new base O ring? coolant does flow through the carb, from the manifold up through the carb base, and out a hose on the back. if the O ring gasket was reused coolant could possibly make it into the intake manifold or steam could be coming out the carb base

    nope intake carb and exhaust header all came out with the head it seems to have stoped on its on a friend of mine said it may be air in the system because i took the head off

    i beleive the issue was air in my coolant and it was boiling used the bleed valve bleed for about 3 whole minuutes and tthe filled itup some more and my temp gage started working
