    Fuel line routing, efi conversion.

Ok, it seems that most people who have done an EFI conversion have added another High pressure fuel line to their cars. Some of you might already know about my plans to swap in a BT1 into my 82 hatch, and after extensive searching, i have a few questions...

    Fuel lines-

What do have you used for the pressure line from the tank? 3g'ers can rob the lines, pump and hardware from a wrecker EFI car, but i don't have that option. the 2g sei's don't seem to exist here.

How do you route your additional fuel line? my fuel lines run inside the cab along the top of the door sill. there doesn't seem to be enough room for a third line. Where should i Put it? My car never had an EFI option.

Fuel line construction...Metal line with EFI rated flexible hoses and double hose clamps? Do i have to bubble flare the ends of the metal line? I want the setup to be safe and the BC ministry of transport dictates a 30 cm maximum length for segments of flexible hose in pressurized systems.

    Fuel Tank/pump-

According to the how-to, you swap the entire pump/pickup/sending unit assembly out of the tank. my fuel pump is mounted on the body, and i don't think an in-tank pump is possible, unless i buy an sei tank/pump/etc.

I was thinking of keeping the low pressure pump and lines installed and putting an efi pressure pump in the engine bay, and routing the fuel return line back to the low pressure supply line. this would eliminate the need for a return back to the tank, but would it have other problems, like screwing up the fuel pressure regulator? is two fuel pumps a bad idea? are there efi pressure pumps availiable that i could mount in the engine bay that would draw fuel directly from the tank?

sort of a complex issue, so any input is appreciated...keep in mind my car is an 82 (early style) hatchback accord.
