Finaly some 3g blessings !!!

I will try to make this short, Here it goes...
Went to pull a part and bought a nice transmission with 60,000 miles for $65,
and lots of miscellaneous parts like rear view mirror, vacum canister,
ractive plug wires, dist cap, wheel well splash guard, etc...
The guy at pull a part let me have all the miscellaneous parts for $10 !!!
Then on the way home I spotted a rear ended 89 lxi with 100,000 miles
in this guys yard, went up to the door and asked him about it, He said
his son wrecked it 2 years ago and last time he checked it still ran great.
He told me if I could get it out of his yard I could have it for free !!!
So now I have a ton of good parts, and an excellent motor and trans
with 100,000 miles !!! Man this is a great christmas ! Now if only I could get a sei ... Hope all you guys have these kind of blessings too.

The rear ended lxi is green with black and beige interior.
It sat for like 3 years with the drivers side rear door missing. The guy
said every now and then people would stop by and buy parts, and
someone bought the rear door, It figures they would have to buy the
door with the trim that I need. It's pretty dirty, but lots of good parts.
My buddy bought a really sweet 88 lxi 4 door at an auction with
absolutely no rust , the paint is flawless, and the interior is perfect !
The only downer about it is the compression test was pretty bad
130 psi cylinder 1, 30 psi cylinder 2, 40 psi cylinder 3, and 130 psi cylinder 4.
He is going to replace the bad engine with the good one from the green lxi.
We're going to snag all the parts we need for our cars, then sell the rest.
After we are done I will let you guys know whats left. I don't have a digital
camera, so no pics yet, but I will try to get some soon. The green lxi
only has like 138,xxx miles and runs perfect ! Merry Chrsitmas everyone,
