a friend of a friend of mine has a 88 civic hb dx with the 1.5 fuel injected motor but automatic......the motor is blown so he will take 2-300 for it

its in pretty decent shape otherwise...so do yall think it would b worth it to go and fix it up and sell it?

I would do it. You can get a replacement engine for $300 if you look around. Just take half a day to drop it in and put it up for sale for $3500.
I've done it a couple of times now.

    Sound like a perfect candidate for a B18 (A, B, C5) :p

I can tell chris is from washington, man thier honda prices are insane. No one in this state would pay $3500 for a 88 civic, even $2500 is on the high side. I did find a 93HB the other day for $3300 and it had a B18 in it.
H&R springs revalved Bilstein front struts, koni struts in the rear 195/55-15 Dunlop W-10's Dc Sports header custom cat-back with Dynomax super turbo w/3" Brembo slotted & dimpled rotor's EBC pads
Well, that's what I used to have, wrecked, 7/3/02.

I would figure that Cali prices would be just as bad but maybe not.
We have a big range of prices on Hondas. If they are in good condition regardless of the mileage we pay a lot for them.

well i cant get it cuz my dad wont let it sit at my house until i can fix it.....esp since im going away to school and it would prob b xmas time b4 i could get to it.....but one of my other friends might by it and do some stuff to it

and besides...my car decided to start puking antifreeze tonight...i dont know exactly where yet but it by where the lower radiator hose is hooked to the radiator (lower driver side)..but im pretty sure its not the hose ....why do things always tend to mess up when u start saving up some money?

and does ne1 know how long radiators are supposed to last usually cuz i had mine replaced bout 2 years ago....but i think it only cost me like 150 for them to do it
