so, pardon my ignorance, i dont really know much about the b20, but i've heard tons about how awesome the a20 is for turbo.

My question is, is the b20 just as good? If not, why? How come i dont hear about too many turbo b20s? I think i've heard about one. And it was in a foreign country.

the a20 has an iron block, end the B20 has an aluminum one. johnny-o manages something like 39PSI on his turbo drag car. granted he has a heavy duty buildup, but that's not as easily done with a b.

ah i see, its all about the metal. But the b20 is substantially lighter, then?

Is it possible to put the b20 heads on an a20 block? That would be the best of both worlds.

Probably gonna rebuild my A20 soon anyway. Turbo? Lets see what you can do. Given the B20 set up I'm sure you'll do well. Lookin' forward to seeing what you come up with!

So the B20 is the DOHC and the A20 is SOHC.

    Re: Last pics of b20a!!!

Sorry to see you swap but i definately understand where your coming from after blowing up my share of engines. On the flip side im in to deep to turn around and i loved it turboed so im working on round 4 but iv learned a lot from my mistakes and other peoples mistakes so this time around should last a little longer.

On the bright side for you the A20 is a solid motor and much easier to replace than a B20A so you in much better shoes when stuff blows up. I wish i did the A20 cause i guarantee i would have a fast much cheaper build right now thats for sure.
