air intake and hoses

a friend and me were putting on a short ram intake and noticed a couple of things.
1. that there was a sensor on the air filter box - do i have to worry about it.
2. there were 2 tubes running from some triangular box to the pipe of the old air system - do i have to worry about these withmy new intake .

i need serious help on this.

i just worked out all of that stuff as i just put a cia on myself, the 2 lines that go into the airbox on the side are fairly important, there then lines that the vacuum system sucks air from to help with idle and what not, so if it is easy u should connect those 2 pipes with a t connector and then run that to the intake, but if you lazy like me,unscrew the little box and leave it haning there with a little nitro car air filter on it, about 4 buks from your local hobby shop, as for the other pipe, thats the rocker cover breather hose, you may aswell find a way to hook that up, because the only other option is to put a breather filter on and they are expensive, and dont last very long

wait what do i do with thesensor on the old filter box. and i i should connectg up the 2 hoses into the intake

thats not a sensor, i thort it was aswell but thats just where the vacuum lines sucks air in from

really so it wont mess the car up or anything. that scared me to death. what do i do with it all. got any pics of what to do?

as you can see its the little box unscrewed from, the airbox and its just sitting there with a little model car filter on it, and you can see my pod filter in the background its just attached to the stock u bend, the air down there seems to be quite colg, but i am looking to replace that u bend with a aluminium one soon
