    Help with TDC code?

    Today my car (89' Lxi)Throw me a number 8 code (TDC sensor) and i want to know what can cause the ecu to give me that code and where is located the TDC sensor?

    The TDC sensor is in the base of the distributor.

    To check the senor
    1. Unplug the connecter
    2. measure the resistance between the Orange/blue teminal and the white/blue terminal at the sensor. Resistance should be 0.65-0.85 kΩ
    3. Measure the resistance between the orange/blue and white/blue terminals and the sensor housing(or ground). resistance should be 100kΩ or more

    the only way to fix that problem is to replace the whole distributor. That is the only way and easy way to fix the problem.
    I am sure you can fart around trying to take the dizzy apart but that is just a waist of time IMO.

    Yep i have a spare one and i put it on and fix the problem.

    Why do you have holes in the back of your bumper...does it go faster???
    I bet it does huh.....you get like 50hp from that..............
