    Pic's of spark plugs...

    Hey, I don't know what they are supposed to look like when they come out of the engine, but these are what my NGK plugs look like...

    is that what they should look like?


    03 Nissan Maxima 6spd 3.5L -- Daily Driver
    96 Civic Ex-T 210whp/183wtq @ 9.5 psi tuned on Hondata s300 -- Now at 12psi, unknown power

    Those look normal to me. My Haynes manual agrees too.

    on this engine they will show a little lean,but thats normal for a stock engine.

    as long as its not caked up with oil or carbon they usually look just like that after a good bit of use. looks just as mine do when the engine is running correctly. although mine runs a bit rich sometimes so mine get dirty looking.

    1,3 and 4 look the same on mine....

    #2 is CAKED in carbon buildup, my dad and i have pretty much concluded that i fried an exhaust valve.... but i havent had time to pull the valve cover yet, it wouldnt hurt to readjust my valves while im under there either.
