DETROIT - Honda Motor Corp. swept the top honors at the Detroit auto show on Sunday as its all-new Civic and first-ever pickup, the Ridgeline, were voted car and truck of the year by a panel of automotive writers.

the one thing i'm liking is that most concept cars are starting to more closely represent what the production car will look like with modern manufacturing.
another thing i have to ask is: does this really surpise you guys? honda has really needed some real boost in this area, and they got it.
I actually like this Camaro. Its got a real "Hot Wheels" look going.

The FXX is a limited-edition, $1.8 million track car that Ferrari is offering about thirty current owners--called Client Test Drivers and selected via an application process--giving them the opportunity to play Michael Schumacher (although perhaps in his pre-2005 form). This is Ferrari's fastest-ever production car, using an 800-plus-hp, 6.2-liter version of the Enzo's 660-hp, 6.0-liter V-12. With 40 percent more downforce than an Enzo and slick Bridgestone tires, the owners likely will need Ferrari's included driver training before embarking on the fourteen-event track-day series that is also part of the FXX package. The breathed-on Enzo is not homologated for street use, by the way. According to Ferrari, FXX owners "will actually be joining Team Ferrari." Well, um, yes, we suppose so, although we don't know of many billionaires whose driving skills match those of Scuderia Ferrari's current drivers, including Schumacher, Rubens Barrichello, and Luca Badoer.Fixed that for ya

Aint that the truth, at $1.8 million. Have to be a billionare to own one of them bad boys. To bad you can't drive it on the streets, wouldn't that be something to race with 800 plus horsepower? That is one bad ride.

this is i heard with the new camaro is that they were gonna stop with any thing with the Zeta platform that was supposta come out in 2007
a guy named bob lutz had to say that anything based on the zeta platform was going to be canceled
he aso mentioned that there canceling the hummer H2 MCE and tyhe GMT361/371 right hand drive and delaying the gmt276 caddy SRX
so the 2007 camaro is dead and might take a few years for the camaro to come back

the FXX is kinda fugly IMO. Deffinately not as sexy as their other cars, but i'd still give my left nut to drive it.
