    Unhappy coil has no spark???

Well i just got my rebuilt engine back in. I just got back from doing it about 30mins ago. Me and a buddy of mine went to start it up and my Accel coil had no spark. We took the multimeter and checked the wires and they were good so we thought maybe the coil was bad. I had my stock coil with me so we re-wired it with the connections, hooked it up , turned the key and the same thing. I just got my engine bay painted so i thought maybe the gounds wern't connected properly but didn't see anything wrong but i still have to recheck. Anyone might know what it could be that i may have missed. I got tired of trying to find the problem so i said i would post to get some info and work one it tomarrow.

Check the ground wire from the harness near the transmission that goes up to and connects to one of the bolts of the thermostat housing.
