you know, with all the rare parts on those cars, someone could import one, and even after all of hte fees and purchasing the car, they could part it out and break even at least if they ebay or get under the skin of the people around here that are dying to have really rare parts. i know the guys here aren't rich, bit i could HONESTLY see the fogs going for $400 + themselves, and around $1000 for a working digital cluster. figure you can get another $1000 or so out of the engine swap. if you're using those numbers, you're already at $2400. it costs around $1100 to import a car to the US, and if you are importing it as parts in a container (while it would cost a bit more in a containter) you don't ahve to pay duties on it as a car, but as car parts.

i'm also pretty sure that if you could find an LHD aerodeck, it wouldn't really be a problem to import and drive here in the US as long as you're not in an emissions controlled state. you will have to get a letter from honda stating that the car is "substantially similar" to the USDM models to avoid the crash testing, and then convert all of the autoglass to USDM glass and then you have a quite rare car here. i figure for about $8,000 i could be driving an aerodeck.

just another note: did you know there are two RHD cars that can fairly easily be imported and driven here? yup. the skyline GTR is one. the other you ask? the 1994-1997 honda accord sedan and wagon. others may be, but these don't require the letters stating that the car is substantially similar to vehicles sold in the US.

If I only could aford it, I would buy this CA3 and import it to Poland.
Than I would start making the EDM CA3 using My Aerodecks body shell with a stering wheel on the right side :-)

this car costs similar to what I ve got to pay here for normal accords with bigger mileage.
so the real problem are the transport fees, and taxes wich will be very high,
due to the fact that this car is not from UE.

I think not :-) This looks more like the EDM Aerodeck,
I want to get My Aero look like this some day.

Anybody know what is the lack code for the bumpers and dorsills and so on?
