Tinted tails AND trunk lights. Somebody stop me.

After having the ebay clear/red tails, and everybody bitching about how they don't match the trunk lights (including me), I put the stock tails back on and tinted them all. Smoke tint is from Japan available on ebay, about $30 incl. shipping - I had to use 2 bottles because I wanted a dark tint, about 4-5 coats on each lens. I like this look a lot more than the clear/reds, goes along w/ the stealth mode of blacking out my trim. I left the rectangular sections in each lens untinted to act as reflectors to provide a little more visibility.

Those are 16x7 Rota Slipstreams, steel grey with a polished lip. About $430 on ebay.

i'd have to agree i was thinking of redding out my lights maybe i'll smoke mine and darken my corners(mines white)

dude that looks sweet, i like them, why dont you try and smoke the red/clear ones. just smoke out the red and leave the rest clear???
