I'd like to add a vise grip to my tool box, but not sure which is the most useful one.
Size: 10", 7", 5"
Style: Curved, straight, long nose.
Opinions?

all of them are useful, but the 5 inch ones get the most use around here.

I tend to like the larger ones for more leverage

I can't read the signature rules so MrBen deleted my signature.
If I could only have one I'd take the 10" curved.

if you have another set of pliers in your toolbox you can go with the smaller set and then use the bigger ones on the handle for the extra leverage
I'm definitely gonna say the 7" curved are the best. I have all three and I definitely use the 7 the most.
yeah i agree. i think the 7" works best. vise grips aren't the tool of choice in a tight spot, so you might as well have a bit more leverage!![]()
