88 lxi 4dr, 5spd, threw a rod... in process of swapping engine from my 87 hatch (police recovered what was left of the car).
the fucker that sold me the 88 is lucky he lives 500 miles from me...
yea AC is optional equipment,it has nothing to do with emissions. kind of like the radio is optional
i took mine off and removed the powersteering and put in a turbo and still did the smog.
and passed.

who needs ac anyways when you have windows to roll down and an open sunroof if you have one, and speed.
