    Question engine lifespan

I drive an '89 Accord SE-i. Its approaching 175,000 miles! and not a single thing has ever broken on it, except the radiator, caus the previous owner smashed it into a brick wall.

I was wondering how much longer my engine will hold out. hehe

Honda engine are very good. Mine as more that 325 000 miles and still never have problem with the engine. But its also depend on how much mileage are you doing with your oil, take care of your cooling system, and change your timing belt at least every
    90 000miles.

I thinks that the tranny or the body will fall down before the engine.

the guy i bought my honda from knows a guy with an 86 CRX, with over 650,000 miles on it...ORIGINAL engine...just did normal tune ups and what not...Try and convince me that a Ford, Chevy, or Buick will do 650,000 miles on the original engine.

i say take care of it and it will last for as long as u can take it. About the high mileage on domestics, there's this company that delivers prescriptions to old people around here that has company cars to deliver in. they were in the paper awhile back. anyways, they had 2 oldsmobile achievas, one of them w/ around 600,000 miles and the other with like 400,000. The owner really took car of these though. I'm talking a tune up every week or so. thats crazy shiznit.
