14's in the rear 13's up front?

i recently put some 14" steelies on my car and they seem to work just fine but i have noticed a drop in acceleration which isnt so bad and i just had a thought


2 of the wheels/tires i have from the stock set of rims/tires i have (the original 13's) still have good tread on 'em..what would be the affect if i put the 13s on the front and left the 14s on the rear?

would there be adverse handeling affects? weird tread wear? anything?

It will be fine. Just make sure your two drive tires are the same size. Sometimes I run 205-60-14's up front and 195-60-14's in the back. My regular tires are 195-60-14, but my burn off tires are 205-60-14. So yes, you can do that with no problems.

I'd put the 14" wheels on the front unless those tires are a lot worse. You'd probably get a little bit better steering response.
