ok has anyone on here actually replaced the glass in their hatch themselves? my autobody teacher has been teaching at this school since 1971,and even he's stumped as to how honda did this one. apparently all the trim clips have been installed to the glass before the glass was glued in place, therefor they all have to be destroyed to remove it.even the bottom trim strip is cliped to the glass and then the glass is glued in place sandwitching it between the metal and the glass. it's impossible to use a wire to cut the urthane becaue there is so much glass overlap on the outside, also the bottom trim strip is glued in place making it impossible to cut the urthane under it. I need to get the glass out so I can work on this hatch to get it ready to go on the car. any ideas i'm stumped. also anybody have a source for the clips other then the dealer? it's gona get expensive.
