VSS code 17 in Integra

Im stumped, I swapped a B16A into an 1g integra which originally had the D16A2 engine, its some real stupid EDM model which did not use VSS - after every wiring thing sorted out Im stuck with the VSS code 17 and VTEC wont kick in.

I got a JDM pgmfi speedometer with some type of cruise control speed sensor in it along with a buzzer, and a circuit board with a 12 pin yellow connector in it. I cant find any two wires that show continuity when the speedo is spun.

anyone here that can help me figure it out.

Check for a broken wire near the VSS sensor close to the front wheel. Also try a continuity check on the same wire back to the ECM from the VSS.

Might need to unravel the wiring loom to check for a broken wire.

well problem solved, made a hybrid speedo from a 3gee cluster with its simple and mechanical speed pulser
