    Source for Electrical Connectors

Anyone here know where I might be able to purchase replacement electrical connectors for my coolant temp sensors? These are the sensors that are mounted in the thermostat housing. One of them has a wire broken off right where it enters the plug and all of the wires are pretty brittle. The broken wire causes lousy starts, obviously, and throws a code 6.

I don't even know if Honda sells the plugs by themselves.

honestly ive never found a place that sells them, unfortunately, i think our best option is salvaging from a junkyard.

Belay that request. I called my mechanic, Danny's Import Service in Lewisville, to ask where I might buy them. Danny didn't know, either. He said I was welcome to cut them off a pile of old wire harnesses he had in the shop. That took care of it. Those guys are great.

    Thanks for reading!

another choice is to buy some "spring" connectors at the auto parts store
they sell the blue ones that are spring loaded to stay on single pole plugs , they are a little pricy but they work
pic's of project at my homepage: home.earthlink.net/~andyk65
