    Prelude Fuel Pump?

First thing is first, this ghetto ass 2psi fuel pump has to go. I wanna put in a 93 SRV fuel pump (to you yanks, it's the Si-Vtec model) but I'm thinking the 89 Prelude Si, or even the 90-91 with the B21 would have a more powerful pump. I wanna be able to feed 300CC injectors (Stock H22A injectors), just wondering if they fit before I yank the pump out of my prelude. If anyone knows, that would be awesome.

Also, which fuel pump fits all around? What does the EX-I pump out?

The fuel pump for EFI Accords will give over 40 psi probably. The stock fuel pressure on those is 37 psi. You can fit any fuel pump you want. You can just zip tie it on.

worse gas milage, I mean the whole purpose of getting a better fuel pump is to pump more fuel. If you had a turbo and bigger injectors then you could get some better numbers out of it.

Please note that 300cc injectors are going on, with a proper ecu. Just happens I have a parts EX-I 4 door, so it's perfect.

PS: I refuse to rig up a fuel pump. Zip ties are enemies in that kind of situation. I might make a custom bracket.

Since you will be pushing more fuel in, what will you be doing for more air? Just think about it, the way a motor works is air+fuel = HP so more fuel means you need more air.

Trust me, the vehicule will be breathing enough air for those injectors...concidering an H22 is going into it. I didn't think the stock EX crab fuel pump could handle 300cc at 100% flow on peak throttle. Leaning out your engine can destroy it, and I'd rather be safe, then sorry.

You sure you want to spend the money on 300 cc? Stock is 240cc.

I'm pretty sure the H22A1 flow is 300cc. SOHC ZC are 240cc.

    Re: Prelude Fuel Pump?

I know the A-series, B-series, and F-series all have 240 cc injectors. I was just assuming the H-series were the same. It would make sense that they are larger.

it's true the H22s flow 300ccs, but you can use those injectors in a b-series.

All honda fuel injectors (the main ones) are interchangeable in there specific OBD. Built B series use Prelude injectors for higher flow. I was offered over 200$ plus B series injectors for my stock H22A1s.

I'll use the EX-I fuel pump. Hopefully the engine won't demand more then that.

Aslong as the pump can not be maxed out by the injectors, you are fine.
